2023 Asia-Europe Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Forum held in Shenzhen
On 27th October, the 2023 Asia-Europe Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Forum was held in Shenzhen under the guidance of Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology and Shenzhen Guangming District People’s Government, and co-sponsored by BASiC Semiconductor and Shenzhen China-European Innovation Center. Hundreds of representatives from science and technology organizations, academic institutions, industry associations, semiconductor enterprises and investment organizations in Asia and Europe gathered to discuss the development and future trends of the wide bandgap semiconductor industry.
Prof. Chen Qingquan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Royal Academy of Engineering, and founding and rotating chairman of the World Electric Vehicle Association, gave a keynote speech. Experts from companies such as Nidec, ZF, Nissin, Yole Développement, Energy Depot, SHINRY, MITKSEMI, PowerEpi and scientific research institutes in Asia and Europe delivered speeches focused on the cutting-edge technology, market hotspots, industrial applications, and future trends of wide bandgap semiconductor industry.
Since 2017, with the guidance and support of the Shenzhen Science and Technology Association and other departments, BASiC Semiconductor has successfully organized China-Europe Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Industry Forum for 5 years. To further promote the exchange and cooperation of the wide bandgap semiconductor industry in Asia and Europe, the forum has officially been upgraded to the Asia-Europe Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Forum since 2023, by setting up an international exchange platform between Asian and European science and technology organizations, scientific research institutes, and innovative enterprises. The Forum is committed to creating a wide bandgap semiconductor industry event with international influence，and contributing to achieve Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality!
