On August 24, a group of visitors from ROHM Co. Ltd   including Dr. Kazuhide Ino, Member of the Board, Managing Executive Officer and CFO came to BASiC Semiconductor. Accompanied by Dr. Wang Zhihan, Chairman of BASiC Semiconductor, and Dr. He Weiwei, General Manager, they visited the Manufacturing Plant for Automotive SiC Power Modules and had in-depth exchanges on further strengthening strategic cooperation.

In 2022, BASiC Semiconductor signed a strategic partnership agreement with ROHM, to bring together both parties’ industrial advantages on the innovative upgrade of SiC power devices. At present, the automotive power modules incorporating technologies from BASiC and ROHM have been designated by nearly 20 vehicle manufacturers and Tier1 motor controller vendors. Among them, the automotive SiC modules used in GAC Aion Hyper series of vehicles are already in the process of batch and stable delivery.

As an innovative enterprise of Wide-Band-Gap semiconductor industry in China, BASiC Semiconductor masters the state-of-the-art SiC technologies, and its R&D fields cover key industrial chain links of SiC power devices, such as SiC epitaxial growth, chip design, packaging and test, and driver circuit.
